Start a Group

If you feel God pricking your heart to start something within your church or community, we want to encourage you and equip you as you obey that call.

There are several types of groups that you can begin, so take a look around and pray for direction on your next step in the process.

  • Girls United Group:
We would love for you to rally the girls involved within your church's girls/youth ministry to be a part of what God is doing through Girls United. Having a strong adult leader to cast the vision and develop this monthly initiative is critical.  Find out more.
  • Bible Study Group:
The Word of God is a powerful and critical instrument for Christian life-change. If we want to see girls truly begin to go deeper and grow more consistently, then we have to teach them to be invested in studying the Word. If you would like to start a Bible study group in your church or community, we want to encourage you to check out our resources that can help you prepare for and lead a group. You can also consider launching a "Godly Girl Revolution" study group, which is a project created by SAGE Director Merritt Johnston. Know that we are always developing new materials, so please contact us if you have an idea or specific need. We would love to partner with you to develop that resource.
  • Prayer Group:
Many of the founding members of SAGE spent an entire summer praying together before we ever began "planning" anything. We are confident that those prayers gave us the strong foundation we would need when the ministry began to grow. Prayer is powerful, and we need more people today who long to pray and intercede for the needs of others. For more info about starting a prayer group, contact us.
