Albertine - Brooke Fraser
Brooke is well known for singing with Hillsong United, most notedly for the songs Lead Me to the Cross and Hosanna.  Before spending time on this album, she took a trip to Africa to immerse herself in Rwanda and then on to Tanzania to visit the children she sponsors.  While she was in Africa, she met a child named Albertine and felt moved to write a song about her.  This album shows her amazing heart for God, ministry, and social justice.  She delivers her lyrics with such conviction but tries to sidestep lazy cliches. If you need some passionate lyrics that represent God's love, then this is the CD to get!
